Come Out and Play

The Beverly Hills Tennis Club offers racquet sports year round. Play tennis and pickleball all summer long, from May until early November, weather permitting. Enjoy paddle ball on our heated platform court from October through April. We offer a variety of programs to help you get the most out of your membership.

New to Tennis?

Our Free Beginner Clinics are a great way to learn the fundamentals. Members who have little experience with the sport are welcome to join us Wednesday nights at 7 pm for practice drills with the pros during the tennis season.

Our tennis pros offer Private, Group Lessons, and Drills to help you hone your skills on the court. See below for their bios and contact information.

Ladies' Night

Every Tuesday during tennis season is Ladies’ Night at the BHTC. All female members are welcome—just RSVP online or show up and join the fun! Play is from 7:00 to 9:30 pm, followed by refreshments on the deck!

Men's Night

BHTC hosts Men’s Night every Thursday during tennis season. Members are encouraged to RSVP online or just show up and play between 7:00 and 9:30 pm.

Summer Tournaments & Leagues

BHTC offers team tennis with several tournaments throughout the year. These include club member tournaments and the end-of-season Woody Tournament, in which players compete with wooden racquets. The club also hosts numerous junior tournaments, and the Chicago Clay Court Open. Visit our Events section to look for upcoming opportunities.

Winter Paddle Ball

Our heated platform court is available for paddle ball from October through April. The cost is $75 for club members and $200 for nonmembers. Men are invited to play from 5 to 9 pm on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Ladies can play during those same hours on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

USPTA Certified Pro

Lisa Lebold

Lisa has ranked No. 1 in the Western Tennis Association and won numerous U.S. National Public Park District Titles. She has traveled extensively on the Satellite Women’s Professional Tour; is a member of the Girls Catholic Athletic Conference Hall of Fame; and has experience with the USPTA, NCAA, Division One tennis and tournament tennis. Lisa is a certified USPTA professional who has taught adults and juniors at all levels. She participates in ongoing professional training throughout the year. All fees below are payable directly to Lisa.

USPTA Certified Pro

Ahmed Hasan

Ahmed is an award-winning tennis champion and USPTA certified instructor with more than 30 years of experience coaching adults and children. Much of that time was spent in his homeland of Amman, Jordan. Ahmed was head coach of the Men’s and Women’s Jordan National Tennis Team for Davis Cup and Fed Cup Tournaments. Ahmed played for the Iraq Tennis Team and was ranked in the top four players in the country. All fees below are payable directly to Ahmed.

Junior Tennis

Coach Lisa offers a Junior Tennis program for children ages 3 to 18. This eight-week summer program features weekly lessons in which students learn and develop their skills on the court. Players are expected to wear tennis shoes and all-white tennis clothes. Payments for Junior Tennis go directly to Lisa.
