The Beverly Hills Tennis Club is a private athletic and social club in Chicago’s historic Southside Beverly neighborhood. Tucked away on a leafy residential street, the club is a welcome retreat for tennis enthusiasts of all skill levels.
The BHTC opened in 1919, offering a single court of crushed stone enclosed with galvanized steel tape and chicken wire fencing. From those humble beginnings, the club has flourished, attracting generations of local families and professionals looking for a place to relax, stay fit, and make friends. Today, the club offers eight Har-Tru green clay courts, four with lighting for nighttime play.
The club is dedicated to the promotion and enjoyment of tennis and paddle sports. Players of all levels are welcome, from beginners to serious team competitors. Offering a first-come, first-served court access with no hourly court fees, there is plenty of opportunity for a full season of play.
The BHTC is the best tennis bargain in all of Chicagoland.
Club members and their guests can enjoy these amenities:
The tennis and pickleball seasons run from early May through early November, weather permitting.
Platform tennis is played from October through April.
Throughout the year, the BHTC also offers festive celebrations that bring members together. The club is also available for members to use for private parties. Come out and join us, and enjoy play all year long!
Our two pros, Lisa Lebold and Ahmed Hasan, are USPTA certified instructors with decades of experience coaching adults and children. They offer private and group lessons, as well free clinics for beginners.
